A funding percentage needs its interval
A rate of 0.01% per hour and a rate of 0.01% every eight hours have very different daily effects. This comparison reads the contract's reported interval and uses rate × 24 / interval hours for a constant-rate daily equivalent. If the ticker does not contain the interval, the tool requests the same instrument's metadata instead of assuming eight hours.
The selected contracts are BTCUSDT, ETHUSDT and SOLUSDT on Bybit. They represent different underlying assets. Their ranking compares funding rates; it does not establish that one asset is a safer hedge or more profitable investment.
Read cash-flow direction separately from annualization
For the stated hypothetical notional, a positive short-side daily cash flow means receiving funding under the standard sign convention; a negative value means paying it. The calculation assumes that the rate, interval and notional stay constant over the day. Actual settlement eligibility and changing mark values can alter payments.
Simple APR multiplies the daily equivalent by 365 without compounding. It is not an estimate of return on committed capital and excludes spot financing, fees, margin reserves and changes in basis. Source timestamps and next funding times help distinguish the observed rate from a future settled result.
