Read the gap in percentage points
A hypothetical pool with 9% current APY and a 6% 30-day mean has a positive three-percentage-point gap. That is distinct from saying its APY is three percent higher: the relative difference is 50%. This page displays the percentage-point difference. The closest-to-mean sort uses the smallest absolute gap, while the increase-over-mean sort highlights the largest positive difference.
A mean can conceal very different paths
Two hypothetical pools can both average 6% while following very different daily paths. One might remain near 6%; another might alternate between very low and very high estimates. A current value close to the mean cannot distinguish them. The screen does not reconstruct a daily history, calculate a volatility statistic or infer a guaranteed rate. Pools without a usable provider mean are excluded rather than assigned a made-up baseline.
Connect the gap to the reported components
Inspect current base and reward APY alongside the total. A high current rate might coincide with incentives, but this table alone cannot prove what caused the difference from the mean. Chain, project and minimum TVL controls help compare relevant records, while the exact pool ID preserves identity across reviews. Borrowing rates, entry costs, slippage and changing token prices are not incorporated into a realized return. Use this comparison to decide which pool history or protocol mechanism needs closer examination, and retain the source receipt with an exported shortlist.
