Compare USD-pegged circulation with prior supply snapshots

This supply monitor compares each USD-pegged stablecoin’s current reported circulation with its own earlier provider snapshot. Choose the previous day, week or month and sort by percentage increases, percentage decreases or the magnitude of the absolute supply change.

Public DeFi observations load automatically with JavaScript. Provider timestamps, filters and CSV exports appear with the result.

Separate the amount issued from its quoted price

The supply comparison uses nominal USD peg units. It does not multiply those units by the observed market price or assume that all units can be redeemed for one dollar. The price remains a separate column. Non-USD pegs are excluded so the calculation does not combine dollar, euro, commodity or other target units in a misleading total.

A large percentage can come from a small base

Consider hypothetical stablecoin A rising from 50 million to 60 million units and stablecoin B rising from 5 billion to 5.1 billion units. A grows 20%, adding 10 million units. B grows 2%, adding 100 million units. Percentage sorting highlights A; absolute-change sorting highlights B. Both are correct answers to different questions. The minimum current-supply control helps define which size of issuer is relevant to the comparison.

Read snapshot comparisons with their limits

The prior fields are supplied by the provider and are not guaranteed exact clock-aligned observation intervals. Missing earlier supply leaves the comparison unavailable. A zero earlier balance cannot support a meaningful percentage growth calculation. Issuance growth also does not prove new speculative demand, reserve quality or stronger redemption access. Use the peg-exposure view to inspect indicative price deviations and the collateral-type screen to review reported classifications. Retain the chosen reference period when exporting a comparison; a weekly change and a monthly change should not be presented as interchangeable.
